MICRO REALISM

Is the art of tattooing photographic detail on a microscopic scale.

The process typically involves creating a stencil from a a photographic reference image, then using extremely fine and/or tight needle groupings to capture intricacies on human skin.

This is a specialist technique which requires more time and patience than traditional tattooing, therefor is a more expensive yet much more unique and visually striking tattoo style.
